I’m Nadia Janelli — founder of The Little Llamas — and I work as a preschool and Spanish-language teacher. I’ve been working in the education field for almost 17 years and am certified as an Early Childhood Educator.

I came to America from Perú over 20 years ago and have lived almost all of that time in San Francisco. I started working with children to help develop my English skills, but I soon realized that it’s something I love.

Teaching is now my passion, and I’m convinced that children learn if they have a kind, fun, creative, and supportive educator. I also believe lessons are more fun and easy to remember if music, movement and art are involved.

The Little Llamas is a new journey on my teaching path, and I look forward to continuing to spread knowledge and a love for learning in children.
